2017 FUNDRAISER – CHILDREN’S HOSPICE SOUTH WEST

Dewey Waters is pleased to announce that we have raised a total sum of £577.36 for the Children’s Hospice South West.

This was achieved through staff fundraising events which ran throughout 2017, these fundraising events included a Halloween quiz night, Christmas raffle, and taking part in donations week. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all members of staff at our Head Office in Weston Super Mare who have participated and contributed towards this great cause.

Continuing on from 2017, in an effort to give back to our communities and raise money for vital care facilities, Dewey Waters staff have chosen to support the charity Alzheimer’s Research UK, as their Charity for 2018.

Alzheimer’s Research UK firmly believes in the power of research to create a world free from the fear, harm and heartbreak of dementia. 850,000 people are estimated to be living with dementia in the UK, and by 2050 this is expected to increase from 50m to 152m. The staff hope to raise as much money as possible while having some fun along the way,
