Enquiry
Dewey Waters received a Design and Build enquiry for initial ideas on a size for a wholesome (potable) water tank so a room can be constructed to meet clearance requirements with a useable capacity of 50.4m3 for a project in the Midlands.
We collaborated with the customers’ design team to configure a suitable water storage tank c/w twin compartment & self-draining base to facilitate future cleaning & maintenance in accordance with HSG 274 Part 2 & Acop L8. The twin compartment arrangement not only had to comply with the water regulations, but safe access was also a key design feature and at 3m high and elevated on 600mm piers, a perimeter clearance of 1000mm was required to facilitate movement of the mobile safety tower for installation.
The process of design was simplified by the client’s initial involvement and their detailed brief, both of which contributed to the presentation of a swift and cost-effective storage solution.
Delivered
An initial delivery date was given but due to on-site delays was pushed back by the customer. Our Customer Services team worked was as flexible as ever and managed to secure more suitable delivery and installation dates that met our client’s programme of work.
We have worked with this customer on many projects over the years and look forward to working with them on other secured projects coming up soon.
